One of the newest venues in the city, 502 has already joined the group of best venues in the state. Bands enjoy some of the best technical crews in the city making sure the concert is top notch. While it can be difficult to see, the beer selection is fantastic and continuously updated. Don’t be surprised if 502 becomes the spot that launches more than a few careers.
The Cove may be a bit confusing to first timers, but that’s what makes it so special. Part laundromat, part car wash, part dive bar, all great. The atmosphere is second to none, with one of the most relaxed, intimate settings in the whole city for live music. Come any night of the week for a live show with bands ranging from country to jazz and much more.
What separates Liberty Bar from almost any other live music bar in the city is what brings the crowd in. First and foremost, Liberty has fantastic food and great casual dining. That’s only boosted by the regular live acoustic music that perfectly fits the vibe of the restaurant. This isn’t to say the place doesn’t deliver musically, Liberty consistently has some of the most talented artists playing the room.
Rebar is a little bit of something for everyone. The front of the bar has a great DJ playing mostly top 40 and hip hop while the back has become one of the best live music venues in San Antonio. Don’t miss house favorite Henry and the Invisibles when they play Rebar, it’s one of the best shows available for any bar.
